Sterling Accreditation is well respected by both members and clients for being a scheme that delivers a high level of quality service, support and advice.  Since 2009  Sterling Accreditation has been accrediting Energy Assessors so that they can undertake Energy Assessments on all types of buildings throughout England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.  Being a pro-active scheme, they have developed close working relationships with Governments, Councils and Trading Standards Authorities to ensure that they are able to provide technical information on compliance, legislation and regulatory requirements to assessors, clients and members of the public.

From the outset Sterling Accreditation’s mission has been to set a ‘new standard’ for independence, quality and service; something which they believe sets them apart from other Accreditation Schemes and we would tend to agree.  Sterling Accreditation is purely an accreditation scheme.  They do not sell assessment services in competition with their members.  As such, they avoid many of the conflicts of interest found elswhere.

Quality Assurance is an integral part of being an Energy Assessor, and Sterling Accreditation has practices and procedure manuals to ensure that assessors get the right level of guidance and support, throughout the auditing process.  Post audit, they provide comprehensive audit feedback reports that provide a valuable insight into understanding even the smallest of errors, ensuring that assessors produce accurate reports now and in the future.
